O site de cinema rottentomatoes, conhecido por ter uma base de dados gigantesca de críticas a filmes, organizou um top para as "20 Most Iconic New York Women". De entre todas as nomeadas destaca-se a vencedora, Annie Hall, a personagem criada por Woody Allen para o filme homónimo de 1977, interpretada por Diane Keaton.No ano de 78, Annie Hall levava para casa os principais prémios da Academia - Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador (Woody Allen), Melhor Actriz Principal (Diane Keaton), Melhor Argumento Original (Woody Allen e Marshall Brickman) e ainda a nomeação de Melhor Actor (Woody Allen).
